Zeichen von Frühling

Signs that Spring is finally here.. or at least very much on its way are starting to show throughout Bonn. Today was a gorgeous day in the Rheinland--about 19 degrees Celsius (around 66 degrees for all the Americans out there) :) Emilian and I took a nice long walk like always, but today it was extra nice because the park was filled with people. Obviously everyone in the area is, like me, over the cold and ready for the sunshine. Emilian is getting so big, and his SECOND tooth is coming in. Also last week he began to CRAWL! He's only 6 months old and his doctor was amazed at how fast he is developing. Wait a smart little "cutie bear" as I call him!!! ;)

Tomorrow marks the start of another weekend. I haven't gone out in Bonn in some time and I look forward to doing it this weekend. Sadly, Bertus leaves on Sunday evening to return to Mainz (city about 70 miles or so south of Bonn) for 3 months. I don't know what I'll do with him not around all the time :( It will be awful.. but at least I'll have a reason to visit/explore a new city in Deutschland :)
And as for tonight, my beloved Mountaineers take on the evil Huskies of Washington. Tip off is at 12:27 here in Germany, and I will definitely be watching thanks to once again, the trusty SlingBox (once again: Thanks Trav and Lisa for purchasing the greatest thing ever!) Let's Goooooo Mountaineers!
